Design.  

From handbags to clothing, our in house design team creates it all. Seeking inspiration from across the globe, researching the hottest catwalk trends, creating mood and research boards to crafting each design detail. Designers work closely with our Merchandising, Quality control teams and Marketing teams to ensure only the highest quality products are reaching our customers.  

 

Current job opportunities:

Freelance Handbag Designer

The successful candidate will be trend aware and have strong eye for handbag design. You will be designing for an already popular handbag brand and help create capsule collections for our high street MTO clients on their own brands. You will be working closely with the design/product manager to plan, create and develop the range. This is an exciting opportunity to join a great company on a freelance basis and to work within an inspiring team.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to interpreting catwalk trends, ability to translate and fit them into brand’s identity, comp shopping, research and development including compiling mood boards and colour pallets. Planning, creating and executing exciting ranges to present to the product director for review. The Ideal candidate must be able to draw by hand and also be proficient in Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop and have strong experience in designing on trend handbags.

Freelance Garment Technologist

 
We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Freelance Garment Technologist to join the team. Please note that this is freelance position with potential to become permanent in the future. You will ensure all product designs and concepts are translated to workable briefs for vendors/ agents to produce samples efficiently and on time. 
With responsibility for reviewing the factory base for each product category you will ensure that all Quality Assurance issues are addressed and company’s standards are met. Proactive management of sealing processes, balancing critical path, commercial and technical requirements is key and pattern cutting experience is essential. Reporting to the General Manager, this is a very important role where you will be regularly providing the Senior Management Team with relevant and accurate information with regards to Suppliers and Quality issues. Ideally you will already have had experience in a similar position within a supplier or retailer business and combine a technical understanding of our main product categories with knowledge of relevant retailing and manufacturing requirements.

Logistics. 

Our Logistics team specialise in ensuring that our customers and clients get their products on time. The in-house warehouse is backbone of DC Brands International. The Logistics team work very closely with our Sales and Merchandising teams to offer high quality service. Our Logistics department is the busiest sector in our company; to work here you need focus and determination to succeed. If you're up to the challenge this could be the department for you.

Showroom.

Our 2 floor busy showroom is the central point of our company, with more and more new clients everyday, the showroom needs to be looking its best. Our Showroom Assistants ensure that all of our products are displayed, keep up to date with stock levels and guide clients through the collections ensuring their experience runs as smoothly as possible. Our Showroom Assistants also work very closely with the Logistics team to liaising sales and ensuring the correct products will reach the correct customers. Our Showroom Assistants are extremely talented sales people; their product knowledge goes above and beyond so that they can answer any of our client’s questions without hesitation. If you'd like to work within a busy environment this department could be for you.

Showroom Assistant

The successful candidate will be trend aware and will have previous experience in working in a busy sales floor environment. You will be working closely with the logistics team to ensure in-house sales are packed and delivered to the customer on time providing a high quality service to our clients. 

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to, 

- Developing relationships with clients. 

- Have a vast knowledge of the products stocked in order to give quality advice to clients. 

- Keep up to date with new collections and arrivals. 

- Communicate with The sales, design and merchandising teams to find out which products are popular and to devise an effective selling strategy. 

- Everyday administration tasks such as processing customer orders, taking payment for orders and other administration tasks.

Our dedicated Sales team ensure our clients are receiving the very best of DC brands, working closely with the Merchandising and Logistics teams the Sales department is fast paced and proactive. With the ability to think quick on their feet whilst working to tight deadlines the Sales department has become the voice of DC brands all clients problems to be dealt with quickly, efficiently with a professional ease.

Sales Administrator

Responsibility:

Reporting to the Sales Manager. You will mainly working in the sales office, responsible for management of daily B2B sales orders we receive via telephone and through our wholesale website.  The role also involves taking incoming client phone calls, provide solution for general sales and administration tasks. Entering customer orders and follow through to final dispatch. you will also be dealing with our key clients on day-to-day basis.

Requirement:

In order to be considered for the role you will preferably have experience in a busy sales office or customer service environment along with good numeracy skills,and an excellent telephone manner.

Sales Account Manager (Clothing & Accessories)

Responsibility:


The role will initially focus on managing and growing a portfolio of new Accounts within single and multiple retailers (Independent Boutiques) and Key accounts in the UK and European markets. You will be working closely with your clients, providing excellent customer service to develop new sales leads, liaising with clients regarding new arrivals and developing strong relationships with buyers. Role also involves taking incoming client phone call. You will need to oversee the order processing to make sure you customer orders gets sent out and delivered on-time. 

Requirement:

To be considered for this role you must display strong sales skills. A confident and skilled presenter and negotiator, you will be good at identifying and creating opportunities with both new and existing clients.

 Proven sales background 
 Experience dealing with fashion products – handbags and Clothing
 Strong account management and relationship building skills
 Demonstrable new business winner with proven ability to meet sales targets. 
 Highly resilient and outgoing
 Good sense of humour 
 Be independent and Ability to work without proper supervision and direction.

The Finance team work closely with the Sales department to process customer payments and have strong analytical and numerical skills. The team have the ability to identify and react to emerging issues, enabling the Company to grow to larger heights within the industry each year. If you like tackling a demanding workload this and conflicting demands on your time, this could be the department for you.
